YOUTH EVENTS

Yes! Since the Toronto Area Open is a new event, the both the U18 and U23 youth events being held on Saturday is ranked Bronze. Youth grading is based on participation, therefore the greater number of youth who participate the greater. Should between 32 and 64 players participate in the event the ranking of the event will be upgraded to silver. Should between 65-128 players participate, the grading will be upgraded to Gold.  In the event that greater than 128 players participate, the ranking will be upgraded to Platinum. 

Pre-registration is available now at https://reg.dartconnect.com/tournaments/torontoareaopen26. Event registration will also be available at the Toronto Area Open up to 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each event. Registrations on site will need to be done in cash.

All Toronto Area Open events (and CDC events) will use Dartconnect. This is a free to use service. The scoring will take place on an application on a tablet provided by the tournament. Players will be required to register using their email address.  Additional information is available at https://www.dartconnect.com/.

The requirements include:

• Shirts: Collared shirts or dart shirts must be worn and kept fully zipped or buttoned at all times.
• Bottoms: Dress pants only. Skirts, shorts, jeans, and corduroy materials are strictly prohibited.
• Footwear: Closed-toed and closed-heeled shoes are required. No open-toed shoes, sandals, or trainers are allowed.
• Accessories: Hats and headphones are not permitted during the event.
